Bit of a traffic jam on one of the river trails, South Mekong.
Instead of going the usual route following Mekong's east side, I decided to try the river trails on the west bank.
Beautiful ride, nice little villages and, as usual in Laos, very friendly people.
The area, known as 4000 Islands, included an seemingly endless amount of river crossings with tiny little wiggly canoes; six of them within the first two hours.
