Started early this morning to get to the Thai - Lao border and still have time for some trail riding once in Laos.
The Huai Kon border was very relaxed, almost no people, so I hit the dirt at 10am. Did the old 120km Hongsa-Luang Prabang route, which took me through serious amounts of mud, tiny 4-house villages and beautiful scenery.
Due to some rain I only just made it to Luang Prabang before the sun went down...
